Sitarama Jindal Scholarship 2021 Eligibility Criteria and Category Details

This scholarship is awarded to almost all the courses in India. Therefore scholarship has been divided into different categories. Find out each category, eligibility criteria, classes allowed and awards offered.

Category A
Class Class 11th and Class 12th students – Pre University
Eligibility Criteria
  • Minimum aggregate of Percentage
    • Boys – 65% || Girls – 60%
  • Candidates of Karnataka and West Bengal should have a minimum aggregate of
    • Boys – 75% || Girls – 70%
Category B
Class Students Pursuing ITI – As per SJF Trade List
Eligibility Criteria Students of both the Government and Private can apply for this Scholarship.

  • Boys – A minimum of 50% percentage is required
  • Girls – A minimum of 40% percentage is required
Category C
Class

Students pursuing Graduate and Post Graduation courses

  • Bachelor Courses Like
    • B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., BFA, BCA, BBA, BBM, Bachelor of Business Economics/Finance, B.Sc. (Ag.), BVSC Integrated course of 5 years (first 3 years will be treated as graduation course)
  • Post Graduation Courses Like
    • M.A., M.Phil, M.Com, M.Lib (Science), MBA, Master of Business Economics/Finance/ Human Resources Management/ International Business/ M.Sc. / MVSc, M.Sc. (Agriculture), MCA, Organic Agriculture, Solar Energy, Rural/Urban Management, Integrated course for 5 years (remaining 2 years amount for post-graduation basis).
  • Both Graduation  and Post Graduation Courses like
    • In the field of Environment: Environment Scientist,
      Environment Engineer and Environment Journalist.
    • In the field of Hospitality: Forensic Science, Microbiology, Social Work
Eligibility Criteria
  • Following are the categories are eligible for the scholarship
    • General Category – Boys and girls.
    • Physically disabled students.
    • Widows and wards (unmarried) of the Ex-servicemen
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks
    • Male Applicants: Minimum of an Agrregrate score of 65% marks
    • Female Applicants: Minimum aggregate score of 60% marks.
  • For applicants from Karnataka and West Bengal

    • Male Applicants: Minimum of an Agrregrate score of 70% marks
    • Female Applicants: Minimum aggregate score of 65% marks.
Category D
Class Students pursuing Diploma of Engineering, Environment, and the Medical Sciences

  • Diploma Courses – (all streams ie Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Chemical, Civil engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechanical engineering Machine Tool engineering, Communication engineering.)
  • In the field of Environment like Environment Scientist, Environment Engineer, and Environment Journalist.
  • Diploma in Nursing, Pharmacy & Physiotherapy
Eligibility Criteria
  • Male Applicants: Minimum aggregate score of 60% marks.
  • Female applicants: Minimum aggregate score of 55% marks.
Category E
Class

Students pursuing Bachelor’s and Post Graduation in any field of Engineering and Medical Science.

  • Graduate Engineering Courses (all streams) including Architecture
  • Graduate Medicine Courses including Naturopathy, M.B.B.S, Dental, B.Pharma, Homeopathy, and Ayurveda
  • PG Courses Engineering & Medicine Courses including Homeopathy, Naturopathy, M.Pharma, Surgery (excluding MDS)
Eligibility Criteria
  • Male Applicants: Minimum aggregate score of 70% marks
  • Female applicants: Minimum aggregate score of 65% marks

B

    • Rs 700 per month for Private ITI.
C Students get a Rs 1000 to 1500 per month as a scholarship for one year
D
  • Boys will get Rs 800 per month for one year
  • Girls will get Rs 1000 per month for one year
E Students will get Rs 1700 to 2300 per month as a scholarship.
